We will issue you with a Certificate of Destruction which is an official DVLA document confirming your car has been legally scrapped. You should also notify the DVLA yourself using the yellow section of your V5C or online at gov.uk.

You do not need your V5C to scrap your car with us, however it does make the process easier. If you do not have your logbook we may ask for additional ID. Not having a V5C will not affect your quote or the price you receive for your car.
