We Handle the Paperwork
On collection day, our driver arrives at the agreed time with all the paperwork needed. We complete the Certificate of Destruction and handle the DVLA notification on your behalf.
You sign to confirm ownership and hand over the keys. We give you a copy of the Certificate of Destruction for your records. Your legal responsibility for the vehicle ends at the point of collection.

How long does the whole process take?

Do I need to be home for the collection?
Yes, the registered owner or an authorised representative must be present. This is a legal requirement. You will need to provide photo ID and sign the collection paperwork.
What if my car is not accessible?
Our drivers are experienced at collecting from tight spaces, garages and awkward locations. We carry specialist equipment for non-runners and vehicles in difficult positions. Let us know in advance and we will plan the collection accordingly.
What happens to my car after collection?
Your car is taken to an Authorised Treatment Facility where it is depolluted, dismantled and recycled in full compliance with UK environmental regulations. A Certificate of Destruction is issued which legally removes the vehicle from your name.
